Specialty Alloy tubing and pipe is a perfect solution for environments that require high temeperature, strength, and corrosion and/or oxidation resistance. RathGibson manufactures specialty alloy tubing and pipe from high quality super austenitic, duplex, and nickel alloys.
When welded pipe is specified, RathGibson's exclusive Micro-Weld process is used to maintain the weld seam integrity and to produce a consistent surface. Fast delivery is assured, thanks to RathGibson's maintenance of raw material stocks, as well as our commitment to complete customer satisfaction, from receipt of order to delivery and installation.

Quality Testing
Testing is done according to internal RathGibson standards, as well as per ASTM and ASME specifications. The tests performed include: reverse bend, flattening, flare and flange testing, eddy current, hydrostatic and others.
Annealing
Bright annealing and rapid qunching is performed as per material and specification requirements.
Finish
Tubing and pipe are
finished by bright annealing. Each product is stenciled with size, wall thickness, ASTM specification, material type, heat number, date, and the initials of the RathGibson mill operator who was responsible for its production.
Packaging
To protect RathGibson tubing and pipe during shipment, the products are packaged in hex or rectangular bundles securely banded with end protection. At the request of the customer, the products may be placed in 1,100 lbs. triple wall, heavy duty cardboard boxes for added protection.
